Getting Started

What is Group Tuesday?
Group Tuesday is a daily Bible study platform built for believers to read and study Scripture together — from Genesis to Revelation. It's organized around the two greatest commandments in Matthew 22:37–40: love God, and love your neighbor.
Is Group Tuesday free to use?
Yes — Group Tuesday is 100% free, for everyone, and we intend to keep it that way. Reading the Bible, exploring the laws of the Torah, walking through Cover to Cover, and joining or leading study plans cost nothing now and won't in the future. We believe Scripture should be freely accessible, and we've built Group Tuesday to honor that conviction.
Do I need an account to use Group Tuesday?
No — you can read the Bible, look up Torah references, and explore the tools without signing up. An account is only needed to track your reading progress, save reflections, and join or lead study plans.

Bible & Study Tools

What Bible translation does Group Tuesday use?
Group Tuesday currently reads from the King James Version (KJV), a public domain translation available across all 66 books and searchable by chapter and verse at /bibles. We're actively working to bring additional translations to the platform, and are in the process of reaching out to other Bible publishers, translators, and ministries to seek their permission and partnership. Among those we're currently pursuing engagement and approval from are the English Standard Version (ESV), The Scriptures (2009 edition), and the Legacy Standard Bible (LSB).
What's the difference between Reverse Torah Lookup and the Laws of the Torah list?
The Laws of the Torah list is a browsable, searchable directory of all 613 commandments found in Genesis through Deuteronomy. Reverse Torah Lookup works the other direction — start from any book or passage of Scripture and trace which of those laws it references.
How does the Cover to Cover reading plan work?
Cover to Cover walks you through the entire Bible over the course of about a year, with a scheduled reading for each day. You can start anytime, and Group Tuesday tracks your progress as you go. See /covertocover for today's reading.
Where can I find guidance for leading a group Bible study?
The Group Study Leader Guide has ideas, prompts, and frameworks for leading a study with your church, small group, or family.

Study Plans & Reflections

What's a study plan?
A study plan is a set of daily readings created by a leader, paired with context, prompts, and reflection questions. Plans can be self-paced — work through it on your own schedule — or cohort-based, where everyone in the group moves through the same days together. Browse public plans at /study.
How do I join a study plan?
A leader shares a join link or QR code for their plan. Following that link adds the plan to your account, where you can track your daily progress alongside the rest of the group.
What is a reflection, and who can see mine?
A reflection is your private daily note tied to that day's reading. Reflections are visible only to you by default. If you choose, you can share a specific reflection with your leader or group — sharing is always an explicit, opt-in choice you make per reflection, never automatic.
What happens if I miss a day in my plan?
Group Tuesday gives you grace for missed days — you can catch up without losing your place or your progress streak resetting unfairly. The goal is consistency over time, not a perfect record.
How do I create my own study plan?
From your account, visit /study/create to build a plan with your own readings, context, and prompts, then manage and share it from /study/manage.

Accounts & Churches

How do I create an account or reset my password?
You can register at /auth/register and sign in at /auth/login. If you forget your password, use the password reset link on the sign-in page — you'll receive an email with instructions. You can also update your password and email anytime from your account settings.
How does church registration work?
A church can register and verify ownership of its domain through DNS verification. Once verified, the church owner can manage staff, assign roles, and send staff invitations from the church management page.
Can I see a history of activity on my account?
Yes — your account activity log shows recent sign-ins and account changes, so you can keep an eye on your account's security.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Contact privacy@grouptuesday.com or use the deletion option in your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled, retained, and removed.
